In the early hours of the morning on the 24 August 2008 the Tinsley Towers were demolished.
The above image was taken moments before the demolition took place it is a last look at a prominent local landmark that has now gone forever.
Juxtaposing the old with the new the picture is an example of older structures being demolished to make way for new developments and symbolises the changing face of Sheffield. This collection of images captures the Towers in their last 24 Hours before they were demolished.

Prints of any of the images in this Gallery are available and more will be added shortly.
If you would like to order copies please email for more details.
